HH the Emir of Al-Baha Thanks Leadership on the Announcement of the Strategic Office for the Development of the Al-Baha Region

His Highness extended his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness the Crown Prince—may God protect them—following the issuance of the gracious directive to establish the Strategic Office for the Development of the Al-Baha Region. This office aims to develop a comprehensive development strategy for the region.

His Highness pointed out the region's comparative advantages, most notably its natural resources, emphasizing the necessity of protecting them. He stressed that the strategy must be built upon the continued preservation of the region's natural resources.

His Highness highlighted the importance of the regional strategy in enhancing the Quality of Life, noting the correlation between economic growth and purchasing power

He indicated that this cannot be achieved without a high standard of living that reduces migration rates and attracts residents from other regions, utilizing the area's existing assets. Furthermore, His Highness expressed his aspiration to translate the visions and aspirations of the wise leadership—may God strengthen it—to create a decent life for citizens and raise the quality of life in accordance with the main targets of the ambitious Saudi Vision 2030. He emphasized the effort to materialize this on the ground, produce purposeful and ambitious recommendations that align with the goals of the region's Strategic Office, and implement outcomes according to the highest international standards. During the meeting, the plan and operational phases of the strategy were also discussed.
